Yamaha DM7 & DM7C: Nieuwste modellen van Yamaha.
De nieuwe DM7-serie bestaat uit twee consoles en een control-unit, plus aanvullende softwarepakketten en is ontworpen om uitzonderlijke resultaten te leveren met een verbeterde workflow voor live muziek, bedrijfsevenementen, theater, uitzending, streaming en hybride mixen, waarbij één console gebruikt kan worden om onafhankelijk meer dan één feed te kunnen mixen.

De DM7-serie beschikt over een nieuwe gebruikersinterface, die eenvoudiger en efficiënter is met een uitstekende, intuïtieve gebruikers workflow, terwijl toch de bekende vertrouwdheid van Yamaha-consoles behouden blijft.

Een belangrijke nieuwe functie van de DM7-serie is de Split Mode, waarmee de ingangskanalen, scènes en mixbussen kunnen worden verdeeld, zodat één DM7 of DM7 Compact als twee afzonderlijke mixers kan functioneren. Met één console kunnen gebruikers zonder compromissen Front of House en monitors, FoH en broadcast of streaming, enz. mixen.

De DM7-serie kan worden uitgebreid met de optionele DM7 Control. Door het DM7-EX (of DM7-EX Compact) systeem te gebruiken, voegt dit apparaat twee extra faders toe en een jogwiel voor DAW-bediening, scènegeheugen, surrond-panner en monitorbediening. Het biedt een comfortabele bedieningsomgeving voor producties zoals musicals, die uitgebreide scènewisselingen nodig hebben. Of voor Broadcast waarbij hands-on monitor- en DAW-bediening belangrijk zijn.

De DM7-besturingseenheid wordt gebundeld met de speciale software Broadcast Package en/of Theatre Package Firmware. Het Broadcast Package heeft functies om het gemak van broadcast mixing te vergroten, waaronder 5.1 Surround ondersteuning, Mix Minus, Audio Follow Video en Loudness Meter.

Het Theatre Package bevat Actor Library, DCA Scene Grid en AFC Image control, evenals andere functies voor theatertoepassingen.

Deze software pakketten kunnen ook afzonderlijk worden aangeschaft.
